Sponsored by the the Rotary Club of Stanwood/Camano
Island, Pat Rimmer Tire Center, Haggen
The parade will be
held Saturday, August 2, 2008, 11 AM, in downtown Stanwood.
Get your lawn chairs, blankets, ice coolers, popcorn, and any other paradeviewing items ready for the grand parade. Come to downtown Stanwood
and watch J.P. Patches lead the procession of brightly-colored floats, listen
to music and ear-deafening fire truck horns, watch horse teams, follow the
antics of silly clowns and silly parents with video cameras, cheer on your
local school marching bands, and gawk at some of the vintage autos. It’s a
great time to spend with family and friends as you clap, cheer, and wave at
the many entries who put in a lot of hard work and countless hours of
preparation for your viewing entertainment. The Rotary Club of Stanwood/
Camano Island invites you to participate in this year’s Stanwood-Camano
Community Fair Parade. The parade will be held on Saturday, August 2,
2008 at 11:00 am in downtown Stanwood. Our theme for 2008 is “The Josephine Sunset Home Centennial Celebration .”
